MY SONGS

I've always enjoyed listening to music and in my teens I started playing other people's music on the guitar. Eventually I started singing along and writing some songs of my own. In my twenties I started playing the piano in earnest and discovered I had a knack for this as well. I played in lounges, weddings, church gatherings, private events and even created a Jingle company - all which helped me to realize I was going to starve in the music business. But I did gain a lot of experience and never shook the music within. I have not been able to play often with others but the guitar, the keyboard and my voice have allowed me to bring to life a lot of the musical ideas that I hear in my head.

I started writing folk music then rock and pop, then some classical and then finally a style which comes natural to me but I have not been able to categorize. Subject-wise I started out writing "normal" songs until a profound incident caused me to do an about face and start writing songs with serious moods and messages. This style represents the majority of my songs.

I've recorded some songs in a studio, others on a Yamaha Motif workstation and recently rendering past recordings with AI software. What the latter lack in vocal replication, they make up for in sound quality, mastering, and EQ balancing. This allows me to share many more songs than I was previously able including many my voice was not suited for. Maybe others with full-time resources and audiences can get the gist of a song and take it to the next level.
